SEATTLE, Wash. – Portland sophomore Michail Pervolarakis was knocked out in the Round of 32 Saturday at the USTA/ITA Northwest Regional Championships hosted by the University of Washington. Pervolarakis pushed Cal's Billy Griffin to three sets, but came up short 3-6, 6-2, 6-2.

In Saturday's consolation singles matches, four Pilots pulled out victories. Sophomore Ethan Ogard defeated Will Cochrane of Portland State in a third set super-tiebreaker. Sophomore Alex Wallace and freshmen Goutham Sundaram and Felix Fan each won in straight sets.

Portland had six players advance past the first round of singles play with a quality opening round on Thursday and battled hard against elite competition on Friday.
