The Pilots jumped out to an early lead in the third that the Terriers would not be able to recover from. Portland used another run to go ahead 17-9 forcing the Terriers to use their final timeout in order to kill the Pilot momentum. Portland powered through the break and went on to complete the sweep 25-16.
