PORTLAND, Ore. -- Be sure to check out an all-new episode of "Portside With The Pilots" Tuesday, January 12th at 9pm on Comcast SportsNet Northwest! 

This month's show features an all-access look at the Portland Men's Basketball experience at the Far West Classic in the Moda Center. Also, we take a road trip with the UP Women's Basketball team for their first West Coast Conference contests in Los Angeles.

Also, Women's Soccer freshman Cecilia Pedersen and Men's Basketball sophomore Phillip Hartwich grew up playing handball competitively in their respective countries of Denmark and Germany, and we brought them in to demonstrate some of the rules of handball and some of the parallels between basketball and soccer.

Also new on this month's show, members of the University of Portland Student-Athlete Advisory Committee explain what a new competion called the Pilot Cup is. Plus a look at the upcoming Track & Field season with the duo of Reid Buchanan and Woody Kincaid, who have the Pilots ranked in the Preaseason Top 50.
