KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Portland Pilots defender Violet Rademacher was named a 2025 United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-American, making the third team. She's the first scholar All-American for Portland since Kendra Chandhoke in 2009.

Student-Athletes must also be in their second year at their institution. All qualified student-athletes have played in at least 75% of games during the season and must have earned elite athletic honors, such as All-American, All-Region or at least all-conference.
Rademacher made the All-West Region Second Team as well for her play this season. The leading scorer for the Pilots, she had seven goals and added two assists season while holding together the back line. An All-WCC First Team selection as well, she was sixth in the WCC in goals.
Rademacher's 1,710 minutes led the Pilots this year. She guided a Portland defense that allowed just 12 goals on the year, the second lowest total in the WCC. Portland's .632 goals-against average was also second in the WCC and 17
th in the nation.
The Pilots put together one of their best years in recent history in conference play, finishing with a 7-1-3 record against WCC opponents to finish tied for second in the league. Their second-place finish was the highest for the program since 2013 while their seven wins were their highest since that same year. Portland finished 10-3-6 overall for their third 10-plus win season in four years and their best winning percentage (.682) since that 2013 season as well.
