PORTLAND, Ore. --- 12 different Pilots scored and Darian Slaga led the way with a game-high 18 points as Portland pulled away from the Warner Pacific Knights to win an exhibition women's basketball game 95-58 on Saturday evening at the Chiles Center. Kaylie Van Loo added 15 points for the Pilots, while Rachelle Owens and Kate Andersen each scored 11.

The Pilots broke the game open in the third quarter when they out-scored the Knights 30-11. Portland would roll from there to conclude the exhibition portion of their schedule.

Slaga shot six of 11 overall, went 2-for-4 from three-point range and was a perfect 4-for-4 on free throws.

Van Loo was also perfect from the charity stripe, going 6-for-6, and she added five rebounds and three assists. Owens and Andersen provided a spark off the bench as the Portland bench out-scored the Warner Pacific reserves 59-4. Owens missed just one shot (5-for-6) and Andersen hit both of her attempts from beyond the three-point arc.

The Pilots shot 57.9 percent for the game, went 10-for-18 on three's and hit 19 of 24 free throws. Portland also out-rebounded their visitors 40-21 and held the Knights to 35.3 percent shooting.

Next up for the Pilots is the season opener, which takes place on Friday against the UC Davis Aggies in Davis, Calif.
