WCC Basketball Tip-Off Central
LAS VEGAS, Nev. – Portland basketball head coaches Terry Porter and Cheryl Sorenson, as well as seniors Philipp Hartwich and Ashley Gray, will be the Pilot representatives at the annual WCC Basketball Tip-Off this week. This year's event will take place at the Orleans Arena in celebration of the league's 10-year anniversary as host of the WCC Basketball Championships.
Fans can hear from head coaches and selected student-athletes from all ten WCC institutions and can submit questions in advance via Twitter using hashtag #WCChoops.
Interviews will be aired live on TheW.tv. with women's basketball featured on Wednesday, Oct. 18 followed by men's basketball on Thursday, Oct. 19.
