PORTLAND AT REGULAR SEASON TOURNAMENTS
Portland has taken part in various regular season tournaments throughout the years. The most notable Pilot appearance came at the 2009 Anaheim 76 Classic during Thanksgiving weekend. Portland crushed UCLA in the opener by a 74-47 margin, then defeated No. 16 Minnesota in the semifinals, 61-56. Portland dropped the title game to eventual NCAA runner-up and No. 9-ranked West Virginia (84-66), but cracked the AP Top 25 for the first time in 50 years after the run.
PILOTS AGAINST RANKED OPPONENTS
Portland is 7-64 all-time against AP Top 25 opponents, has lost nine straight games to ranked teams, and has never defeated a top 10 opponent (0-24). The last Pilot win against a ranked opponent came versus then-No. 18 Gonzaga, 82-73, on Jan. 9, 2014.

Despite only getting back to Puerto Rico a couple weeks per year, Walker's entire biological family still calls Carolina, Puerto Rico home. His mother, father, and grandfather were able to get off the island and visit JoJo in Portland in early October and will be at the PK80 Tournament, along with his Santa Maria, Calif. host family.
