PORTLAND, Ore. --- The Portland Pilots men's soccer team will host the Portland Timbers 2 in an exhibition spring soccer match on Friday night at Merlo Field. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m., and the game is free and open to the public.
Â
"We are excited to host another professional team in the Timbers 2 this Friday after playing Seattle Sounders 2 a few weeks ago," Portland head coach Nick Carlin-Voigt said. "Our players and staff have been working hard and preparing all spring and this will be another great test for our program against a strong team expected to play many experienced players. This is another great opportunity with our local professional club. We look forward to having the Portland community come out to the game Friday night to support both the Pilots and Timbers at Merlo Field."
Fans are asked to enter the main Merlo Field entrance on Friday night as seating will be limited to the main grandstand side of the field.

The Pilots follow the T2 game with an alumni game on March 24, and they'll host Oregon State on Merlo Field on April 7. The Pilots conclude their spring season with the semifinals and final for the Pacific Northwest Cup on April 14.
