• The Pilots will send select runners to compete at the Charles Bowles Invitational at Bush's Pasture Park in Salem, Ore.

LAST MEET
• At the Dellinger Invitational, the men's team totaled 182 points in the 8K for fifth place in the team scores.
• Sophomore Justin Hazell finished first for the Pilots in 23:53.9, a new personal best which was good for 13th place overall.
• In the women's 6K, the Pilots finished eighth in the team total, and it was Anna Pataki who led the way with her personal record of 20:19.5 for 14th place individually.

2019 ACCOMPLISHMENTS
• Junior Victoria Weir won the individual title and led the Portland women to the team championship at the Western Oregon University Sundowner.
• Pilots took the top three spots individually in the 6K meet and won the team title with a score of 43 points.
• In the men's 8K meet, the Pilots finished second with a team score of 55.
• Senior Matt Schumann led the way for Portland with a fourth-place finish in a time of 24:57.8.
• The Portland men's team claimed the team title at the PSU Viking Rust Buster with a total of 20 points, including PRs from seven of eight runners.
• Reuben Kiprono won first place overall in the men's 6k race with his time of 18:11.9.
• The Pilots' women's team finished third in the team scores, and Grace Perkins led the way with a seventh place finish in the 4k and a PR of 14:13.5.
• Perkins was one of eight Pilots to PR for Portland in the women's 4k.
• Both Portland's men's and women's teams won the team titles at the Linfield Harrier Classic in McMinnville, Oregon. The men's team won with a score of 19 points, and the women with a score of 27.
• Cameron Thompson was the top finisher for the men in the 6K, claiming second place with a time of 19:34.4.
• Redshirt freshman Ellie Misuraca claimed her first individual win in the women's 4K with a time of 15:34.5.

LAST SEASON
• The men's cross country team finished third at the 2018 NCAA Cross Country Championships, marking the third time in five years that the Pilots have finished third or better and on the podium.
• At the 2018 West Regional in Sacramento, Calif., the Portland men swept the team and individual trophies.Â
• Redshirt senior Nick Haguer claimed Portland's second straight individual title and lead the Pilots to their third team West Region title.
• The Pilot men's team graduated Logan Orndorf, Nick Hauger, Stuart McCallum, Michael Somers, and Noah Schutte, who were all members of last year's third place team.
• Portland men's head coach Rob Connor earned his second consecutive and sixth overall West Region Coach of the Year award in 2018. Â
•Last year's seniors Lauren LaRocco and Taryn Rawlings both earned All-American honors while leading the Pilot's women's team to their best finish in program history at the 2018 NCAA Cross Country Championships.
• The women's team will be without LaRocco and Rawlings in 2019, in addition to recently graduated team members Becca Howard, Aoibhe Richardson, and Courtney Cox.
• On the academic side, six Pilots combined from the men's and women's teams were named USTFCCCA All-Academic. Noah Schutte was also named to the 2019 Google Cloud Academic West All-District® Men's Track & Field/Cross Country team, for the second year in a row.

• In the USTFCCCA Week 3 National Poll, the men rank No. 11 overall.
• In the USTFCCCA Week 2 Regional Poll, the men rank No. 2 in the West region, while the women rank No. 7.
