EUGENE, Ore. --- The Pilots battled from behind twice, and Kimberly Hazlett and Emily Collier each scored a goal as Portland earned a 2-2 draw with the Oregon Ducks on Friday night at Pape Field. It's the second straight game to find the back of the net for Hazlett, and Collier scores her first career goal.

The Ducks (3-1-3) got on the board first when Ally Cook provided a goal in the 17th minute. Sakura Yoshida set up the play by sending an early ball into the area that took an awkward bounce near the top of the six-yard box. That's where Cook was able to re-direct it into the goal, and the home side had the early edge.

After conceding the early goal, the Pilots (2-1-2) went to work on offense. In the 26th minute, they quickly moved the ball up field, and Taryn Ries played a perfect ball into space for MJ Roe. Roe then whipped a cross into the box that made it through some traffic, and Hazlett got a touch on it to send it past the keeper.

Hazlett's second goal this season leveled the score 1-1, and Roe, a freshman, claims her first career assist.

But just when it appeared the two sides would end the first half even, Eden Hardy tallied the go-ahead goal. She gained possession inside the box after receiving a long ball over the top from Alyssa Hinojosa. Hardy then made a couple of moves to avoid the Portland defense and hit one inside the left post to make it a 2-1 game.

The score would remain 2-1 until the 71st minute. Ries earned a free kick for the Pilots after being fouled left of the 18, and Ellie Walker sent in a ball that the Oregon goalkeeper couldn't control. Collier was there to put away the rebound, and just like that the two in-state rivals were tied, 2-2.

The Ducks attempted the only shots during the first OT, and Portland keeper Jenny Wahlen made a save in the 99th minute to preserve the tie.

In the second overtime, the Pilots continued to knock on the door. Ries hit one high in the 101st minute, and Walker had a shot blocked in the 106th minute. The Ducks did earn a corner kick in the final seconds, but the set piece was defended well by the Pilots, who earned the point on the road.

The Pilots next return home to host the Seattle Redhawks at Merlo Field on Sunday, with kickoff set for 1 p.m.
