THIS WEEKEND: HUSKY CLASSIC
• The Portland Pilots men's and women's track and field teams are headed north this weekend to compete in the Husky Classic in Seattle.
• Running first for the Pilots on Friday is Riley Osen and Bradley Peloquin in the men's 3000m, starting at 3:50pm.
• Maya Murphy-Cook will start Day Two action on Saturday at 11:30am in the women's 60 meter dash.

LAST WEEKEND: PORTLAND INDOOR TWO
• Tara Fuiten highlighted the day with a PR of 59.33 in the 400m dash, a time which puts her in fifth-place in program history.
• Freshman McKenna Smith collected second place overall in the women's 3000 meter run with a new personal record of 10:06.72.
• On the men's side, Peter Allegre led the way for the Pilots in the 3000 meter run, finishing in 8:28.72, and earning himself a 12 second improvement from his previous best in the event.
• The men's mile also contained many improved times for Portland, in which nine Pilots collected new personal bests.

THIS SEASON
• At the UW Invitational, 12 Pilots collected new personal records in the men's mile, including Evert Silva who improved upon his previous time by more than 10 seconds.
• Stella Gillman also posted a new personal best in the women's 3000m run, moving her into ninth-place all-time in school history in the event.
• Senior Maya Murphy-Cook collected PRs in two events at the Portland Indoor One and moved into third-place in program history in the indoor 200m dash, and fifth-place all-time in the 60m dash.
• Sophomore Tara Fuiten also landed in eighth-place all-time in the indoor 400 with her PR of 59.70.
• On the men's side, the Pilots claimed the top five spots in the men's 3000m race, with Thomas Salas winning it in 8:34.74. He was followed by teammates Chris Anderson (8:36.55), Matt Schumann (8:37.77), John Kavulich (8:38.08), and Cole Shugart (8:38.95).
• To open the indoor season at the UW Preview in Seattle, a combined 21 Pilots earned personal bests by either competing in an event for the first time or improving upon their previous time, and included eight top-10 all-time records.
• Sophomore Tara Fuiten was first into the record books with her performance in the women's 600m race (1:36.24), which lands her in second place all-time in the event.
• On the men's side, Said Guermali ran the men's 1000m in 2:30.06, while collecting the third best time in Portland history in the event.
• Then in the men's mile, newcomer George Duggan's time of 4:04.49 and recent cross country All-American Caleb Webb's time of 4:06.43 were both good for record breaking times, of seventh and 10thplaces all-time, respectively.

LAST SEASON
• Lauren LaRocco (15:33.20) broke the UP 5000m Indoor school record, which she had previously held, by 17 seconds.
• Taryn Rawlings jumped into to the all-time records at third all-time.
• Logan Orndorf (3:59.94) produced a historic race at the UW Indoor Preview, becoming the first Pilot in UP history to run a sub-four minute mile. He surpassed Portland alum Ryan Poland (4:01.28) who last set the record for the indoor mile in 2014.
• The Pilots produced several record book worthy performances at the UW Invite, with redshirt Rawlings highlighting the day on the women's side, with a new UP indoor mile record, besting her previous time of 4:40.78 to 4:36.92.
 • Orndorf again posted an incredible performance to move up to second all-time in the indoor 3000m, finishing sixth in his heat with a time of 7:52.33.
• Junior Emmanuel Roudolff-Levisse was right behind him in the fastest heat of the 3000m, crossing the line ninth overall in 7:55.05. Roudolff-Levisse records a new PR in the indoor 3000m, but remains at fourth all-time in the UP records.
 • Redshirt junior Caleb Webb also ran an exceptional 3000m, winning his heat, posting a new personal best of 8:04.73, and breaking into the indoor records at ninth all-time.
• Sophomore Evert Silva came close to winning the heat, for a second-place finish. Silva also posted a new personal best of 8:04.91 to clinch the 10th spot on the UP all-time records list.
• In the women's 3000m, Richardson led the women with a second-place finish in her heat to break into the women's 3000m records at eighth all-time.
• Taryn Rawlings moved up to second all-time in the UP indoor records at the Husky Invite, with a new 3000m personal record of 9:20.05.
• In the women's 5000m, junior Aoibhe Richardson moved up to fourth all-time in the UP record books with a new personal best of 16.16.98.
• Senior Michael Somers led Portland with an impressive 11th place overall finish and a time of 13:47.87, breaking into the indoor records at second all-time.
• Rawlings placed third overall on the final day of the MPSF Championships in the women's mile to record a new personal record of 4:36.00, besting her previous school record time.
