• The Pilots had just one game this past Saturday, and were overcome 3-0 on the road at Gonzaga.
• Charity Bradley notched a season-high 11 kills against the Bulldogs, connecting on 22 attempts to finish with a .409 attack rate on the day.
• Noelani Helm produced a solid performance at GU with seven kills, 16 assists, two aces and six digs.

ABOUT THE PILOTS
• Megan Burton enters her second year as the head coach of the Pilots volleyball program, with assistant coaches Aven Lee and Dylan Hamilton also returning for the 2021 season.
• The Pilots also bring back seven letter winners from the spring 2021 West Coast Conference season.
• The program welcomes four true freshmen to The Bluff this fall in Alyssa Muraoka, Gabby Quach, Emma Swett, and Keilani Mumolo.
• Portland has also added graduate transfer Charity Bradley out of Washington State to their roster ahead of fall competition.
• The Pilots saw three significant contributors graduate at the end of last year in setter Kellie Hughes, All-WCC outside hitter Liz Reich, and second-place all-time career digs leader Carey Williams.
• Junior Jayde Harris has been the team's most productive scorer this season, leading the Pilots with 256 total kills--a new single season record for the outside hitter--while averaging 3.05 per set. The Murrieta native also leads Portland in service aces with 30.
• Through 24 matches the team has produced averages of 9.95 kills per set, 9.12 assists per set, and 11.64 digs per set.
• Noelani Helm leads the Pilots in assists with 408, a new single-season record, sits second on the team in kills (109), and is third on the team in both digs (138) and total blocks (27).
• Junior Grace Zibert is Portland's team leader in digs, collecting 223 this fall.

ABOUT THE OPPONENTS
• Loyola Marymount enters the match just two spots ahead of the Pilots in West Coast Conference standings.
• The Lions split two matches at home last week, falling to Santa Clara 3-1 on Thursday before defeating San Francisco by the same score on Saturday.
• As a team, LMU is first in the WCC in service aces with 186 overall, and second in both total kills (1349) and total assists (1237) on the year.
• Kari Geissberger leads the Lions in kills this season with 313, and the outside hitter's 3.96 kills per set average ranks third in the conference.
• Isabella Bareford has collected 1062 assists this year, and generates 10.11 per set--the third-highest average in the WCC.
