One of the all-time great men's basketball players in University of Portland history, Pooh Jeter, is the inaugural guest on the brand-new Portland Pilots Alumni Podcast. Jeter was interviewed by his former teammate and host of the Podcast, Brant Minor '06.

Episode 1 welcomes Jeter who is now in the Ukraine continuing his 15-year professional career which has included stops in the NBA with the Sacramento Kings, an extended run in China, as well as stints in Spain, France and Israel.
On The Bluff, Jeter was a fan favorite during his four-year run from 2002-06. He was a three-time All-West Coast Conference point guard and ranks No. 2 all-time in scoring with 1,708 career points. Jeter also ranks fourth in steals (160), three-pointers made (200), free throws made (408) and free throw percentage (.846), while his 346 assists is No. 7 all-time.
Jeter has also been an impactful member of the community in his hometown of Los Angeles, giving back to the youth and providing
learning opportunities for future basketball stars. Additionally, he owns a shoe and clothing boutique named
LACED (Acronym for Los Angeles Creates Endless Dreams) which is the only black-owned shoe and clothing boutique in L.A. with a Nike account.
