PORTLAND, Ore. – The Portland Pilots men's soccer team has added a pair of non-conference home matches to the schedule. The Pilots will host Multnomah this Wednesday at 5 p.m. and have added a match on Wednesday, April 14 versus Corban University at 5 p.m. with both matches being played at Merlo Field.
Additional matches are looking to be added and will be announced as they are finalized.
"We have faced a ton of adversity this year and I've been super proud of how the guys have stuck together and battled through each and every moment as we continue to grow," Portland head coach Nick Carlin-Voigt said. "We have had four matches postponed due to various factors and we wanted to reschedule and add games to the schedule to give our roster more opportunities for player development and playing opportunities. We are excited to add these two games and may look to add a few more down the road before we conclude our spring season. Our focus remains on finishing the spring season strong."
Wednesday's game versus Multnomah will not have fans or live video, but live stats will be available at
PortlandPilots.com.
The April 14 match versus Corban will have limited fan access for player guests and season ticket holders.
Following Wednesday's match, the Pilots will return to West Coast Conference play by hosting the Santa Clara Broncos on Saturday at 1 p.m. at Merlo Field.
