PORTLAND, Ore. -- The Portland Pilots were victorious on their senior night, defeating the Pacific Tigers 3-1 in their regular season home finale. Portland improved to 11-2-4 overall and 5-2-0 in WCC play after the victory.
How it Happened
- Portland started the scoring when Kayla Adams notched her fifth goal of the season in the 20th minute, assisted by Cally Togiai.
- The Pilots added another score on a goal from Togiai -- her fifth goal of the season -- in the 67th minute, assisted by Emily Collier and Adams.
- Portland built its lead to 3-0 on Mj Roe's 85th-minute goal, her third of the season. Elianna Wong assisted the goal.
- The Tigers made it a 3-1 game with an 88th-minute goal from Allie Jones. The goal closed the scoring in the game.
Game Notes
- The win gives Portland it's highest win total since head coach Michelle French's first year as head coach in 2018.
- The Pilots scored multiple goals for the eighth time this season.
- Togiai now leads the Pilots in points with 14 (five goals, four assists) while Adams slides into second with 13 (five goals, three assists).
- Roe's goal gives her a career-high three goals on the year.
- The Pilots have allowed one goal or less in 14 of their 17 matches this season.
