MALIBU, CALIF. -- The Portland volleyball team could not overcome a dynamic Waves offense Tuesday on the road losing to Pepperdine in three straight sets (10-25, 16-25, 22-25). The loss dropped Portland's record to 10-19 overall and 3-15 in WCC action.
Elin Larsson finished with eight kills on the day to lead the Pilots offense while finishing with a hitting percentage of .294. Defensively, Portland had two players reach double figures in digs as Maui Robins had 15 and Grace Zilbert had 12.

SET 3 | Portland couldn't prolong the match and lost in set number three. The Pilots came up short by the score of 25-22. Pepperdine grabbed the advantage for good at 14-13 in a set that was tied up four times before the Waves took over in the second half of the stanza.
