PORTLAND, Ore. -- The Portland Pilots advanced to the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament with a 1-0 shutout victory against the Western Michigan Broncos. Portland improved to 15-2-3 overall after the win and advanced to their first Elite Eight since the 1995 season.
How it Happened
Portland took a 1-0 lead when Delentz Pierre recorded his second goal of the season in the 59th minute off a header. The lone score held in the 1-0 game.

- Portland's 15 wins are also the most since 1995. Their .833 win percentage is the best since 1988.
