MISSOULA, Mont. – Portland pushed Utah State to the final point before falling by a 4-3 margin in a women's tennis neutral site dual match Saturday at the Peak Racquet Club.

The Pilots narrowly took the doubles point as Sally Pethybridge and Rimona Rouf clinched with a tiebreak win at the No. 2 position. The duo improves to 4-1 this spring in dual matches. The No. 1 tandem of Iva Zelic and Neli Sunjic cruised to a 6-3 win for Portland's other doubles victory.

Zelic defeated Lisa Kung in straight sets at the top of the singles lineup to improve to 5-1 this spring. Neli Sunjic picked up Portland's other singles win by a 6-3, 6-3 margin over Zeynep Naz Ozturk at No. 3 singles. Rimona Rouf and Jana Tanevska dropped three set heartbreakers at the bottom of the lineup.

The Pilots will conclude the weekend with a match on Sunday against host Montana at 9:30 a.m. at the Peak Racquet Club. Live scoring of the match will be available.
