SANTA CRUZ, Calif.---The Portland Pilots claimed a team sweep over the Pacific Tigers at the WCC Mid-Season Invitational held at Santa Cruz Beach on Friday afternoon, after fifth-ranked Loyola Marymount prevailed 5-0 in the team's first dual match of the day.

"After a tough loss to an excellent LMU squad, we did a fantastic job of bouncing back in some tough conditions for a 5-0 sweep of Pacific," said Portland coach Dylan Hamilton. "We're excited to continue our streak against USF tomorrow morning."
 
Tournament action continues tomorrow, Saturday, March 26, with the Pilots first set to take on San Francisco at 11 a.m.
 
Portland will then compete against either San Jose State or Pacific in their final conference contest at Santa Cruz Beach later in the afternoon.
