Portland had five runs off 10 hits. Three different Pilots had two hits or more, with Jake Tsukada going a team-best 3-for-4. Trace Tammaro, however, was the hero at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two home runs and three RBI's. Ben Patacsil was also 2-for-4 at the plate with an RBI.

Portland scored two runs in the bottom of the third right after. The first run came off a solo homer from Tammaro, his fifth of the year. The second run came off an RBI double to left from Ben Patacsil, whose hit brought Jake Holcroft home. Portland led 3-1 after three innings.
The Tigers pushed Portland in the fifth, scoring one more run off a single by Brandon Motheral to cut the Pilots' lead to one. But Tammaro ensured the score wouldn't stay that way, stepping up to the plate with one out and a runner on first in the bottom of the seventh and hitting a two-run homer that made it 5-2 Portland. The second bomb puts him in a tie for first on the team in home runs at six.
Pacific scored one more run off Morse in the eighth to cut the lead to two, but Allegro and the Pilots held them off the rest of the way, winning 5-3.
