2021: WCC All-Academic Honorable Mention... All-WCC Honorable Mention... moved to reliever for the 2021 season, making a team-high 21 appearances... posted a 3.96 ERA with a 1-2 record and eight saves... his eight saves was tied for first in the WCC, and his total was among the highest in the nation most of the season... eight saves moved him to into the top 10 for career saves afterr just one year... longest outing was three innings pitched, a total he hit twice... on 5/15 against Gonzaga, he went three innings with four strikeouts and only two hits given up... had at least three strikeouts five times.
2020: WCC All-Academic Honorable Mention... made four starts for the Pilots in COVID-shortened season, tied for the most on the season by a Pilot... posted a 3.10 ERA with two wins and no losses... went seven innings twice, once in his season debut against Nevada (2/14) and again versus Stephen F. Austin (3/1)... added seven strikeouts with only one run and four hits allowed against Nevada... had seven strikeouts with only one run and three hits allowed against Stephen F. Austin.
2019: WCC All-Academic Honorable Mention … team-high 13 starts on the hill … picked up a pair of wins, and posted an ERA of 3.52 … K’d 73 and walked just 17 in 79.1 innings pitched … fanned seven and allowed only four hits in 8.0 innings to notch a win over North Dakota State (Feb. 22) … matched a career high with 11 strike outs in only 6.0 innings to earn the dub over Northern Colorado (Mar. 8) … ended the season seventh all-time at Portland in fewest walks per nine innings (2.18), and his 8.03 K’s per nine innings are No. 10 on the all-time charts.
2018: WCC All-Freshman Team … inserted into Portland’s Friday starter role early in the season, and the freshman flourished … registered three wins, tossed a complete game, claimed an 3.62 ERA, and fanned 71 in a staff-high 82.0 innings … the complete-game win came at LMU on April 20; he K'd a career-high 11 during the victory against the Lions, and he allowed just five hits en route to the program’s first complete-game win since 2015 … in just his second collegiate start, he worked 8.0 scoreless innings against Saint Joseph’s to get his first career win; struck out eight during the W, scattered eight hits, and walked just one … struck out nine in 6.2 innings against USF (Mar. 23), and he tossed 8.0 scoreless innings against Pacific on Apr. 27, striking out six while not issuing a walk.
CLEVELAND HS: Four-year letterwinner for the Warriors … as a senior, he earned All-West Region Honorable Mention, landed All-State Honorable Mention, and was voted to the All-PIL First Team for the second straight season … he also helped lead Cleveland to the state playoffs for the first time in six years … also garnered second-team league honors a first baseman in 2016 and 2017, and nabbed all-league accolades during his freshman season as well … as a senior, boasted an ERA of 0.68, he K’d 68 in 44 innings pitched, tossed four complete games and allowed only four earned runs … tossed complete-game shutout and drove in both runs during 2-0 win over the league champion … team captain … struck out 61 in 2016 and allowed just four earned runs all season, for an ERA of 0.84 … during an outing against 2016 league champion Lincoln, he worked eight scoreless innings on the mound, while fanning 13 and allowing just three hits … was voted team freshman of the year and most inspirational in 2014, and he was the recipient of the Royal C Award, which is presented to the team’s best player, leader, and someone who embodies the team’s and school’s values.
