Portland Head Coach Nick Carlin-Voigt on the win
"Really proud of our players and our program tonight. We continue to talk about ways to elevate our program and raise the bar higher. Pleased for our seniors who took a chance on the vision we laid out and earned their third straight victory over UCLA. Our group is confident and united and we made some great team plays tonight. We were solid in the back and that set the tone early. UCLA is a good team and I think they will have a good season, but I thought we played brilliantly tonight and were very close to scoring a third or fourth goal. We created multiple chances throughout the night, and you could see as the game went on that we controlled many moments that drive winning. Thanks to the fans and community tonight for getting behind our program. We now will prepare for another top team in Denver on the road."
