DENVER, Colo. --The Pilots secured a three-set sweep (25-20, 25-20, 25-13) over the Butler Bulldogs Saturday at Hamilton Gymnasium. The win improved the Pilots' overall record to 5-1 on the season.
Maui Robins finished with 10 kills on the day to lead the Pilots attack while finishing with a hitting percentage of .45. Defensively, Portland had three players reach double figures in digs, including 16 from Grace Zilbert's, 12 from Noelani Helm and 10 from Keilani Mumolo.

The Pilots never trailed by more than five points and grabbed the advantage for good at 14-13 in a set that showcased four lead changes before the Pilots took over in the second half. Portland's front row had a solid defensive performance, blocking four Butler attacks in the set.
SET 3 | Portland finished off the match in a 3-0 sweep after winning set three. The Pilots took control of the set early when the score was 3-2 and never looked back to win 25-13. Portland ended on a strong note, opening up its biggest lead of the set, 12 points, to finish off the set. The Portland offense was also boosted from four aces.
