SAN MATEO, Calif. – The West Coast Conference announced on Friday the WCC All-Academic Team for Men Cross Country. The WCC's All-Academic Teams feature student-athletes who excelled this year both academically and athletically.

The Pilot men earned a total of 13 All-WCC academic honors - three named to the WCC First-Team and ten given honorable mentions.

For the First Team awards, only five WCC institutions were represented, comprising Gonzaga, Portland, Saint Mary's, San Diego and Santa Clara. For the Pilots, Kevin Andrews, Lakelin Conrad and Paul Law all received First Team WCC Men's Cross Country All-Academic honors, marking the first time these athletes have received the honor.Â

For Honorable Mention honors, the Pilots were represented by a strong group including, Evan DeLaCruz, Nolan Hosbein, Eliason Kabasenche, Connor Kennedy, Isaac McGill, Sully Nordheim, Tommy Paltzer, Xander Penaflor, Pedro Vazquez and Cohen Williams.Â

At the conclusion of each athletic season, the WCC selects an all-academic team for each WCC-sponsored sport. To be considered, a student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average, while also being a significant contributor to their team.
