SANTA CRUZ, Calif. -- The Portland Pilots were defeated 1-4 by the Saint Mary's Gaels in their first match of the West Coast Challenge in Santa Cruz, Calif. on Saturday afternoon. The Pilots were able to rally back for a victory against Pacific with a score of 4-1. 

"The team played hard in tough wind and deep sand today, and did a fantastic job of bouncing back after a tough loss to SMC." Said Coach Dylan Hamilton. "We're excited to battle with USF tomorrow and for a rematch with Pacific in the afternoon."

The tournament action concludes tomorrow, Sunday, March 26, with the Pilots taking on San Francisco at 11 A.M. and Pacific at 12 P.M.
