• The Pilots will compete in the Husky Invitational at Alki Beach in Seattle, Wash.Â
• On the first day of competition, the Pilots will play against tournament host University of Washington, Boise State, and the University of Oregon.
• The Pilot's second day opponents will be decided by results from Day 1.

ABOUT THE PILOTS
• Megan Burton steps into her second year as the head coach of the Pilots beach volleyball program, with Dylan Hamilton also returning for the 2023 season.
• The Pilots return seven from last year's roster in Bradley, Helle, Helm, Lee, Mumolo, Stammberger and Zilbert.
• The beach volleyball program welcomes two new freshmen to their roster including Brodie Baker and Michela Strati.
• Portland added one transfer student to the program, Junior Alina Valenti from West Valley College.
• Jordan Bardouche, Marleena Catalan, Larkin Chock, Elin Larsson and Maui Robins are returning from the Pilot's indoor roster.
• The Pilots return two All-WCC Second Team honorees, Noelani Helm and Grace Zilbert.
LAST SEASON
• Portland finished the year 7-17 in duals competitions during the 2022 season.
• The Pilots defeated Corban, Bushnell, San Francisco and Pacific throughout the season, ending their season with a final win against the Dons at the WCC Championships on April 29th, 2022.
• The Pilots faced Oregon and Washington on multiple occasions, as well as matchups against No. 5 LMU and No. 8 Hawaii.
LOOKING AHEAD
• The Pilots will compete in the Corban Tournament in Salem, Ore. against Corban University and Bushnell University on Mar. 10-11th.
• Portland will begin conference play at the WCC Mid-Season Invitational in Santa Cruz, Calif. on Mar. 25-26th.
• The team will meet for the Alki Beach Invitational in Seattle, Wash. on Apr. 15-16th.
• The Pilots will play against Corban University on Apr. 17th in Salem, Ore.
• Portland will travel to Eugene, Ore. to take on University of Oregon on Apr. 20th.
• West Coast Conference play kicks off on Apr. 28-29th in Santa Monica.
ABOUT THE OPPONENTS
• University of Washington is 14-12 for the 2023 Beach Volleyball Season
• The Huskies most recent performance was at the Pac-12 North Invitational where they defeated University of Utah and Arizona State, but fell to No. 9 California and No. 4 UCLA.
• Boise State is 19-6 for the 2023 Beach Volleyball Season
• The Broncos most recently competed in the UC Davis Invitational where they downed Liberty University and Santa Clara but fell to the host team, UC Davis.
• University of Oregon is 7-19 for the 2023 Beach Volleyball Season
• The Ducks' most recent results were from the Pac-12 North Tournament where they fell to Arizona State, No. 2 USC, Utah, and No. 10 Stanford.
• The Pilots' second day opponents will be decided by Day 1 results.
