SEATTLE, Wash.---The Pilots beach volleyball team had three hard fought matches against difficult competition today at the Husky Invitational. The team fell in three matches against University of Washington (0-5), Boise State (0-5) and Oregon (1-4).
"The team did a great job of battling for three long matches today," said Coach Dylan Hamilton. "We've had several weeks off since our last matches, and I was really happy with how we used the new tools we developed over the last weeks in competition today. We look forward to responding to a tough day with two more matches tomorrow."
Portland is set to face University of Washington again tomorrow at 10 A.M. and then another team, decided by tournament results later in the day.
