SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – The West Coast Conference announced on Tuesday the WCC Commissioner's Honor Roll for the 2022-23 academic year. The Pilots had 195 students qualify by having a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
The Commissioner's Honor Roll recognizes student-athletes who have balanced athletic achievement with academic success. To qualify for the award, an individual must have earned a varsity letter in a sport which the conference determined a champion in the recently completed academic year, must have posted a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher and have completed at least 12 graded credit hours per term. With 1,805 honorees, the WCC set a conference record for recognized student-athletes.
Honors are broken down into gold, silver and bronze. Gold honors recognize student-athletes with a GPA between 3.75 and 4.0, silver represents athletes with a GPA between 3.5 and 3.74 and bronze honors encompass those with a GPA between 3.0 and 3.49. 195 Pilots qualified for the honor roll, with 64 earning gold honors, 52 earning silver and 79 earning bronze.
