PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- The Portland Pilots played the Brown Bears to a 0-0 tie on the road to earn their fifth clean sheet of the year. Portland moves to 4-1-2 overall after the tie.
How it Happened
Portland registered four shots in the scoreless tie against Brown. The Pilots faced nine Brown shots, three of them on goal. Bre Norris led Portland with three saves.
Game Notes
- Norris totaled three saves for the Pilots out of nine total Bears shots.
- Norris's 24 shutouts for her career are just half a game shy of sixth in program history.
- The Pilots recorded their fifth shutout of the year. They have allowed just two goals seven games in.
- This is the second year in a row the Pilots have allowed just two goals through seven games. Prior to last year, they hadn't achieved the feat since 2009.
