STOCKTON, Calif. – Portland got a pair of goals from Nedya Sawan and recorded its sixth consecutive shutout with a 4-0 victory against Pacific Saturday on the road at Knoles Field.
The win improved Portland's record to 7-1-2 overall and 1-0-0 in WCC action, while Pacific drops to 6-5-1 and 0-1-0 in league play.
How it Happened
Portland broke the 0-0 tie when Sawan notched her fourth goal of the season in the eighth minute.
The Pilots tacked on another score on a goal from Aubrey Turner -- her first goal of the season -- in the 39th minute, assisted by Cally Togiai.
Portland went ahead 3-0 on Sawan's 56th-minute goal, her fifth of the season. Turner was in on the action and earned her third assist of the year.
The Pilots capped the scoring with a 67th-minute goal from Brooke Miller, her first goal of the season. Sophia Mattice assisted the goal.
