Box Score PORTLAND, Ore. -- The Portland Pilots earned a 1-0 win over the Seattle U Redhawks on Thursday up at Championship Field, scoring in the final seven minutes of the match to earn the win. The Pilots improved to 3-1-1 with the victory.
How it Happened
After a scoreless first half, the Pilots made a late push to find the go-ahead goal up in Seattle. In the 82nd minute, Nedya Sawan fired a shot that bounced off the post but found the foot of Cally Togiai. Togiai managed to find the back of the net and give Portland the victory.
Game Notes
- This is the third shutout of the year for goalkeeper Bre Norris and the 22nd of her career.
- The Pilots have allowed just two goals through five matches.
- Togiai's goal was her first of the season. She's the third Pilot to score this year.
