PORTLAND, OR – The Portland Pilots fell to the San Francisco Dons 3-1 (18-25, 15-25, 25-21, 16-25) at home in the Chiles Center. The loss dropped Portland's record to 9-6 overall and 2-3 in WCC play.
The Pilots offense was led by Elin Larsson and Maui Robins, with a match-high 16 kills on the day each. Portland got 13 digs from Tinoa Woodward-Hart along with five blocks from Taina Kaauwai to lead them defensively.

How It Happened
SET 1 | The Pilots fell behind early, dropping a tough first set 25-18. Portland trailed as San Francisco never gave up the lead in a set that was tied up two times before the Dons took control.
SET 2 | Portland then lost the second set 25-15 to fall behind in the match two sets to none. The Pilots fell behind on the first point and continued to trail before dropping the set.
SET 3 | After dropping the first two sets, Portland fought back to take set three and make it a 2-1 match. The Pilots took the third set 25-21. Portland took the lead for good at 10-9 in a set that showcased two lead changes before the Pilots took control.
SET 4 | Portland couldn't build off the set-three victory and fell in set four 25-16 to drop the match. The Pilots fell behind early and fought from behind the rest of the way before falling in the set.
