PORTLAND, Ore. -- The Portland Pilots closed out the regular season with a 1-0 shutout victory over the Oregon State Beavers. Portland improved to 9-5-6 overall and 4-3-3 in WCC action with the victory.
Violet Rademacher scored the lone goal for Portland, her second of the season. Bre Norris recorded three saves on the evening as well as her 36th career shutout.
How it Happened
Portland took a 1-0 lead when Violet Rademacher scored her second goal of the season in the 21st minute, assisted by Isabella Yakel. Rademacher got the header off a free kick from Yakel, giving Portland the game-winner early. The 1-0 score held the rest of the way.
