PORTLAND, Ore. – University of Portland men's basketball released the team's complete 2024-25 schedule on Tuesday. The Pilots will host a total of 16 home games, play non-league road games at Oregon, Long Beach State and Kent State, and compete at the previously announced events
Myrtle Beach Invitational. Portland's
West Coast Conference schedule was released last month.

The regular season schedule officially tips off against Lewis & Clark at the Chiles Center on Wednesday, Nov. 6 at 7 p.m. Portland then hosts perennial Big West Conference contender UC Santa Barbara on Saturday, Nov. 9 at 3 p.m.
Portland hits the road for the first time with a visit to in-state rival Oregon on Tuesday, Nov. 12 and then travels to 2024 NCAA participant Long Beach State on Saturday, Nov. 16.
The Myrtle Beach Invitational is Nov. 21-24 in Conway, S.C. and the Pilots will open the tournament against South Florida. The Bulls went 25-8 last season, won the American Athletic Conference regular season title and reached the second round of the National Invitational Tournament. Portland will face either Middle Tennessee or Ohio on Friday, Nov. 22 and conclude the event on Sunday, Nov. 24.
The month of December features six home games beginning on Sunday, Dec. 1 against Denver at 2 p.m. Following a road game at Kent State on Friday, Dec. 6, the Pilots return for a five-game homestand at the Chiles Center.
Portland welcomes Kansas City on Tuesday, Dec. 10 at 7 p.m. and Cal State Bakersfield on Saturday, Dec. 14 at 5 p.m. Willamette visits on Monday, Dec. 16 at 7 p.m. and then the non-conference concludes with a meeting against Lafayette in the opening game of a Portland basketball doubleheader on Saturday, Dec. 21 at 1 p.m. The women follow against conference rival Pacific at 3:30 p.m.
Following the Christmas break the Pilots open WCC play against a pair of league newcomers. Portland hosts 2024 NCAA Tournament participant Washington State on Saturday, Dec. 28 and then visits Oregon State on Monday, Dec. 30. The team's 18-game unbalanced league schedule will feature home-and-homes against all WCC opponents with the exception of San Francisco at home and Santa Clara on the road.
Head Coach Shantay Legans has brought in a talented crop of freshmen and transfers to join returning lettermen Vukasin Masic, Bol Dengdit, Chris Austin and Coleman Lemke. Max Mackinnon was a two-year starter for Elon, including the 2023 Big South Freshman of the Year. The Pilots also added experienced interior players in American University transfer Jermaine Ballisager Webb and UC Santa Barbara transfer Mezziah Oakman. Redshirt freshmen Vincent Delano and Kelson Gebbers join the rotation this season along with a talented, eight-member class of true freshmen.
