LOS ANGELES, Calif. – The No. 1 Portland Pilots and LMU Lions tied 1-1 on Saturday, moving Portland to 8-0-2 and 1-0-1 in WCC play.
Sebastian Herandez scored the lone goal for the Pilots, his first of the year. With the draw, the Pilots maintain their unbeaten streak, extending it to 20 games dating back to last season. It's the longest since 1988 for the Pilots and the second longest of any team nationally.
How it Happened
Sebastian Hernandez opened his account in the 21
st minute to give the Pilots a 1-0 lead. Ethan Zamora sent a long ball into the box that Hernandez smashed in with a header. The goal put Portland on top early.
LMU got on the board deep in the second half, scoring in the 81
st minute to tie things up. Both teams searched for the go-ahead goal, but the score would stay tied at 1-1.

- Hernandez becomes the 12th Pilot to score this year with his first of the season.
- Ethan Zamora and Diego Rosas earned their fourth and eighth assists of the season.
