SEATTLE, Wash. --Â The Pilots earned a three-set sweep (25-18, 25-23, 25-17) over Seattle U on Thursday night at the Redhawk Center, improving to 12-13 overall and 7-7 in WCC play.
Maui Robins powered the offense with 13 kills on .500 hitting, her highest hitting percentage of the season, while Jeryn Hildenbrand led the defense with a match-high nine digs.

How It Happened
SET 1 | The Pilots won the first point and never trailed to secure the first set 25-18. Portland led by as many as nine points at 24-15 before closing out the set.
SET 2 | After their win in the first set, Portland put themselves on the cusp of a sweep with a 25-23 victory in set number two. The Pilots earned the set victory with the help of a strong performance on the attacking end. Portland put together a .346 attack percentage with 13 kills in the set win. The Pilots took their first and last lead of the match at 17-16 and rode it to victory. The Portland offense also got a boost from three aces in the set.
SET 3 | Portland took the third set to finish the match in a 3-0 sweep. The Pilots took a 1-0 lead and never looked back in the set to earn a 25-17 victory. Portland opened up as much as a nine point lead at 24-15 before closing out the set. Portland's front row had a solid defensive performance, blocking four Seattle U attacks in the set.
