- Portland earned that fifth conference win with a 1-0 victory over the Gonzaga Bulldogs, their first over the Bulldogs since 2017.
- Portland has now shut out nine opponents this season, the most clean sheets in a season since 2023.
- Sophia Hills has been in goal for all nine of those clean sheets. It's the most by any Pilot goalkeeper since Bre Norris in 2023.
- Jillian McBride scored the game-winner for the Pilots, her first goal of the year and first game-winner.
- Keeley Dockter assisted the goal, becoming the second Pilot to reach multiple assists on the year.
- Seven different Pilots have scored this season: Violet Rademacher (6), Hailey Still (3), Hailey Bagby (2), Aliyah Dockter (1), Mao Ito (1), Tayvi Khann (1) and Jillian McBride (1).
- The Pilots rank second in the conference in goals-against average (.647) and shutout percentage (.529). They are 24th and 25th nationally in those respective categories.
- The Pilots have allowed just 11 goals through 17 matches this season.
- Hills currently leads the WCC and ranks 18th nationally among individual goalkeepers in goals-against average at .606. Her shutout total of nine is also second in the conference and 16th nationally.
- Nevaeh Peregrina was named to the U.S. Women's National Team U-20 Training Camp Roster on Monday. She will train with the team from Oct. 22-30 in Kansas City.
- Peregrina had two assists on the season, the only Pilot with multiple assists this year.
- The Pilots are coming off a season that saw them finish 9-5-6 overall and 4-3-3 in WCC play. They've won at least nine games each of the last four years, marking the first time the Pilots have put together at least nine wins a season for four straight seasons since a stretch between 2010 and 2013.
- Last season, they were second in the WCC in goal differential (19), goals-against average (0.850) and shutout percentage (.400) while leading the conference in save percentage (.828).

- The Pilots return 16 players from last year's squad while adding 11 newcomers.
- Among the key returners are forward Hailey Still and Hailey Bagby, who were second and third respectively on the team in total points. Still scored seven goals for 14 points while Bagby added four goals and four assists as a defender.
