SEATTLE, Wash. – Women's track star Laura Pellicoro continued her impressive season, breaking her own school mile record by six seconds and clocking the fastest NCAA mile time this season at 4:25.60. Seven other Pilots also delivered historic performances.
The Pilots kicked off Day 2 of the UW Invitational with Pellicoro's standout win, followed by Fleur Templier, who ran a personal best of 4:39.09, posting No. 3 all-time at UP. Samantha Prusse also impressed, finishing in 4:47.16 PR, placing her sixth in program history.
Other highlights for the women included Rose Perotin posting the No. 4 all-time school mark in the 800m (2:10.38 PR), while Stina Pettersson followed with a 2:11.19 PR, ranking seventh all-time at UP.
On the men's side, Mark Milner improved his previous best, running 3:56.71 PR (No. 2 in school history). Yutaka Roberts set the fourth-fastest 400m time in program history with a 49.79 PR, while freshman Yuta Cole recorded a personal best of 1:52.55 in the 800m, placing him eighth all-time at UP.
