LAST WEEK
- The Portland Pilots delivered strong performances at the Husky Classic, highlighted by Laura Pellicoro and Estaniz Ruiz setting new program records in the 800-meter races. Pellicoro surpassed her own program-best mark, finishing in 2:00.92, while Ruiz ran 1:48.99, improving his personal best by 1.60 seconds. Pellicoro's time in the race ranks fourth nationally as well.
- Samantha Prusse kicked off day 1 with an 18th-place finish in the 3000m, setting a personal best of 9:23.68. Matt Strangio claimed fourth in the men's 3000m with a time of 7:40.09 while Price became the second Pilot to cross the line in the event, recording a PR of 7:55.81, posting the eighth-fastest time in school history.
- In the women's 5000m, Richardson and Fordstrom both set personal bests, securing the 5th and 9th spots on Portland's record list with times of 15:59.27 and 16:23.62, respectively. On the men's side, Jona Bodirsky and KG Monyebodi both finished in the top 15, with Bodirsky clocking a personal best of 13:58.52.
- The Pilot women opened day 2 with four personal bests in the Mile. Rose Perotin (4:44.63), Samantha Prusse (4:45.50), and Teressa Perez (4:48.83 PR) all recorded top-10 times in school history. On the men's side, Mark Milner secured a top-10 finish, while Jonas Price clocked a personal best of 4:00.18, placing him No. 8 all-time at UP.
