FOREST GROVE, Ore. – Pilots delivered an impressive performance at the Pacific Open, held at Hansom Stadium on Mar. 29, 2025. Multiple athletes set personal records and secured top finishes across various events. The Pilot men secured second place overall, while the Pilot women finished eighth in the team standings.
In the women's sprints, Alexis Leao led the charge with a dominant victory in the 400m, clocking 59.60 seconds. Lola Richardson took third in the 200m with a personal best of 26.21, while Jillian Bremont earned a fourth-place finish in the 400m hurdles with a PR of 1:06.61.

In the men's mid distance event, Yuta Cole secured second place in the 800m (1:53.80), with teammates Nate Lantz (1:56.05) and Kevin Andrews (1:56.44 PR) rounding out the top four. The 1500m race saw Nathan Short claim victory with a PR of 3:50.96, followed closely by Evan Delacruz (3:54.65 PR) and Kevin Andrews (3:55.45 PR), giving the team a clean sweep of the top three spots.

On the women's distance side, Izzy Lochtefeld took home first place in the 1500m with a time of 4:40.81. Katie Newton placed sixth (4:50.46), while Avery Owen notched a PR (5:14.60) for 11th place.

In the men's distance events, Adrian Stuphan captured first place in the 3000m steeplechase with a time of 9:39.87. The 5000m saw Collin Penuel (15:09.67) and Canyon White (15:11.01) claim second and third place, while Alex Althouse (15:13.81 PR) and Xander Penaflor (15:20.29 PR) rounded out the top five.
