SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. -- The West Coast Conference revealed the bracket for the 2025 WCC Beach Volleyball Tournament on Monday, with the Pilots locking in the sixth seed for a first-round matchup against the 3-seed Saint Mary's Gaels. The two teams will play on Thursday, April 24 at 10:30 a.m.
The tournament takes place over the course of two days, from April 24-25, down at Ocean Park Beach in Santa Monica. All games will be broadcast on ESPN+, with the championship game set to broadcast on ESPNU.
On the first day, the Pilots play the Gaels in their first match (Match 2), with a win setting them up for a match against the winner of the matchup between the 2-seed and 7-seed, the Pepperdine Waves or the Pacific Tigers respectively (Match 3). A loss for the Pilots would see them play the loser of Match 3 at 2 p.m. in Match 5.
Should the Pilots win Match 5 they would play the non-advancing team from Match 1 between the 4-seed Santa Clara Broncos and the 5-seed San Francisco Dons at 4:30 p.m. A win in that match would see the Pilots play the loser of Match 4 between the 1-seed LMU Lions and either the Broncos or the Dons.
Friday marks championship day, with the first possible match for Portland (Match 8) taking place at 8:30 a.m. against the non-advancing team in Match 4. The winner of Match 8 plays the non-advancing team of Match 6 at 11 a.m. The winner of Match 10 between those two teams will play in the championship against the winner of Match 11 for the championship on ESPNU at 1:30 p.m.
The Pilots finished regular season with a 4-16 record, including two home wins on the Tom and Meg Names Family Foundation Beach Volleyball Courts.
