PORTLAND, Ore. – Matt Strangio highlighted Portland Twilight by breaking his own school record in the men's 1500 meters, running 3:36.95 PR to place second in the event. He previously set the school record three weeks ago at the Bryan Clay Invitational.

The Pilots picked up several wins during the meet. Alexis Leao won the women's 400 meters in 58.30, followed by Isabella Dreiling (59.85 PR) and Lola Richardson (59.86 PR). In the women's 400-meter hurdles, Jillian Bremont ran 1:05.12 to win and set a personal best.

In the distance events, Jonas Price had another standout race, running a personal-best 3:40.11 in the men's 1500 meters. His time now ranks him fourth all-time in school history. Estanis Ruiz won the men's 3000-meter steeplechase with a time of 8:43.86, just ahead of teammate Giuliano Scasso, who finished second in 8:44.36. In the men's 5000 meters, Anthony Giesch ran 14:07.79 PR to take first place. Several other Pilots also ran personal bests, including Isaac McGill (14:31.46), Hugh Kent (14:34.16), and Cohen Williams (14:45.91). Juliette Forstrom also had a big day in the women's 5000 meters, winning the race in a personal-best time of 16:10.65. Her time moves her to eighth all-time in school history.
