EUGENE, Ore. -- The Portland Pilots fell to the Oregon Ducks in three hard-fought sets (21-25, 20-25, 23-25) Wednesday on the road at Matthew Knight Arena. The non-conference loss dropped Portland to 3-1 on the season.
The Pilots were led by a double-double from Maui Robins, who registered 10 kills and 11 digs on the day. Lucia Busso also added 10 kills to help the attack. On the defensive end, Tinoa Woodward-Hart chipped in with a match-high 11 digs to go with four blocks from Nevaeh Bray.

How It Happened
SET 1 | The Pilots found themselves in an early hole, losing the first set 25-21. Oregon grabbed the advantage for good at 19-18 in a set that was tied up five times before the Ducks took over in the second half of the set.
SET 2 | A 25-20 second-set loss put Portland in a 2-0 hole in the match. Oregon grabbed the advantage for good at 20-19 in a set that was tied up 10 times before the Ducks took over in the second half..
SET 3 | Portland could not win the third set and was swept by Oregon. The Pilots fell in a back-and-forth battle, losing 25-23 in a set that featured three lead changes and was tied 10 times. Neither team had a lead of more than four points along the way.
