TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - Portland Pilots Men's Cross Country finished 18th out of 34 teams at the John McNichols Invitational on the LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course this weekend. Portland finished out with 390 points.
Portland's team finisher was Adam Lippe, running the 8K course in 24:24.4 and placing 40th overall, a PR for Lippe. Nolan Turgeon placed 68th overall with a PR of 24:37.5 and Bodie Alderson was behind him in 84th place at 24:48.1, another PR. Jude DeVries placed fourth on the team and 93rd overall at 24:57.0 and Weston Day placed fifth in team and 104th overall at 25:01.6.
The Pilots' next meet is on Saturday, Sept. 26 at the Mike Johnson Classic in Monmouth, Ore. hosted by the Western Oregon Wolves.
