2017: Tied for staff-high with 23 appearances, and made six starts … notched a pair of wins and compiled 47 K’s in 62.1 overall innings … picked up first win after striking out five during 2.2 scoreless innings of relief against Santa Clara … second win was also in relief, which was a 4.1 inning outing at Pacific; struck out four Tigers.
2016: Made 16 appearances and 14 starts as the team’s primary Friday starter … fanned 61 in 62 innings pitched, averaging 8.9 K’s per nine innings … held left-handed hitters to a .188 batting average … struck out a season-high eight twice, including against UC Riverside (March 5) when he allowed only one hit in 5.0 scoreless innings to earn the win … struck out two of three batters he faced in perfect inning of relief at Oregon (May 17).
2015: 10 appearances and two starts during freshman campaign … struck out five in 7.0 innings and held the opposition to a .261 batting average … had three straight 1.0 scoreless appearances out of the bullpen (April 7 – May 6).
LAKE OSWEGO HS: Four year letterwinner at LO, where he has starred as a left-handed pitcher, an outfielder and a first baseman … earned First Team All-Three Rivers League as both a pitcher and an outfielder in 2013, en route to Second Team All-State honors as a pitcher … landed on the all-league second team in 2014, when he fanned 74 in 55.2 innings … the Lakers won the Three Rivers League title in 2013 and would reach the quarterfinals of the state playoffs … he went 10-2 on the hill as a junior with an ERA of 0.80, which he lowered to 0.52 during the playoffs … also earned four letters in football and was a starter for the 2011 State Championship team … was also selected to play in the Oregon Nike Baseball Series and was named to the All-Tournament Team at the 2012 Senior NW Baseball Championships.
