SW TENNESSEE CC 2019-20: Averaged a team-high 20.6 points per game and earned 2020 All-TCCAA First Team honors… shot 51 percent from the field, 37 percent from three-point range and 78 percent at the free throw line on the season… added 3.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game, while earning multiple TCCAA Player of the Week awards… recorded five games with 30-plus points including a season-high 40 points versus Volunteer State CC.

MONROE CC 2017-18: Appeared in 26 games with five starts… averaged 6.7 points and 2.0 rebounds, while shooting 49 percent from the field, 43 percent from three-point range and 85 percent at the free throw line… season-high 23 points versus Miami Dade College.

ST. JOSEPH’S SECONDARY: Four-year starter... led St. Joseph’s to its first boys’ basketball Region of Peel Secondary School Athletic Association (ROPSSAA) crown and a berth at the Ontario Federation of Schools Athletic Association (OFSAA) tournament as a senior… was named the ROSSAA MVP and regional all-star.

PERSONAL: Born March 29, 1998 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada… son of Clythus Griffith and Nicole Oliver… plans to major in business.

COACH PORTER ON GRIFFITH: "Cly is a fantastic scorer. He is aggressive and has the ability to give us a great offensive punch. What also impressed me when talking with his coaches is the fact that they said he is a team first guy and just wants to win. Cly is also a strong student – we hope to challenge him academically as well."  

GRIFFITH ON PICKING PORTLAND: "We connected when I played in a November JUCO showcase in Illinois. Portland caught my attention because of the high-caliber of play in the WCC and having Coach Porter as a former NBA player as head coach. I played for another former pro in Cedric Henderson and I am excited to learn from an ex-NBA player. I will bring leadership, scoring, energy and experience as one of the older guys coming into the program."
