Bio: Carroll received her bachelor of science in kinesiology from Washington State University. As an undergraduate, she worked for two years as an intern for the men’s and women’s track team. After graduating in May of 2006 she attended San Jose State University where she earned her masters of arts in kinesiology. While earning her masters, she worked for Stanford University as the graduate assistant athletic trainer where she worked with the football team and was in charge of the women’s tennis and women’s golf teams.
After graduating from San Jose State in August of 2008, Carroll began working as an assistant athletic trainer at St. Mary’s College of California. While with the Gaels, she was assigned to men’s and women’s cross country (2008-10), men’s basketball (2009-14), women’s soccer (2010-11), and softball (2008-10, 2012).
While working as an athletic trainer, Carroll has gained experience working for various university and high school sports camps in sports ranging from soccer to football. Other duties she has performed in association with athletic training are institutional and NCAA drug testing liaison, secondary insurance coordinator, athletic training student program coordinator, OSHA representative, gameready liaison, and recovery pump liaison.
Carroll’s certifications include; NATABOC, adult CPR and AED, professional rescuers first aid, NAYA, and SFMA.
