Biography
PORTLAND 2022-23: Named to the 2022-23 Lisa Leslie Award watch list at the beginning of the season, which highlights the best centers in NCAA Division I... played in 21 games with 18 starts, averaging 5.9 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.7 blocks per contest... led the Pilots in blocks for second season in a row with 56... moved to fourth on all-time block list for Portland at 170, including third among Pilots who only played Division I basketball... led the WCC and ranked 36th nationally in blocks despite playing seven fewer games than second place... did not play enough games to qualify nationally for per game average, but 2.7 block average was still ninth best in the country... recorded a season high six blocks four times last season, doing so against Houston (11/24/22), Oregon (12/3/22), Pacific (2/18/23) and Oklahoma (3/18/23)... scored over 10 points in four games, including a season-high 12 against Oklahoma in the first round of the NCAA Tournament... set a season high for both steals and assists with two and five respectively in WCC Championship against Gonzaga (3/7)... one of just three Pilots to eclipse 10 rebounds in a game, grabbing 11 against San Diego State (11/18/22).
PORTLAND 2021-22: All-WCC Honorable Mention... WCC Player of the Week (11/15/ 1)... NCAA Starting Five (11/17/21)... played and started in 29 games, averaging 8.1 points, 6.5 rebounds and 3.9 blocks per game while playing a team-high 28.9 minutes per contest... 3.9 blocks per game led both the WCC and the nation... 114 total blocks were second in the nation and first in the WCC... broke the school record for total blocks and blocks per game in a season... recorded five blocks or more nine different times, the only Pilot in the 2000s to hit that mark... blocked a career-high nine shots twice this season, once against Portland State (12/12/21) and again against San Diego (1/27/22)... nine blocks was more than the Pilots had gotten as a team since 2015 and the most of any Pilot in the 2000s... one double-double on the year against Weber State (11/13/21) with 14 points and 12 rebounds... scored at least 10 points in 11 games this season, fourth most on the team... three games with at least 10 rebounds, which was second on the team... led team in rebounding eight times... scored 18 points against BYU (2/3/22), a season and career high.
PORTLAND 2020-21: Sat out due to Covid-19 pandemic.
OREGON 2019-20: Appeared in 18 games as a true freshman for the Ducks, who won the Pac-12 and were ranked second in the country when the season ended … averaged about seven minutes a game, scoring a season-high six points twice … also had season highs of five rebounds (twice), three assists (twice), and three blocks … shot .625 from the field overall and was five of six at the free throw line.

NATIONAL TEAM: Played for the Australia National Team in both the 2016 FIBA U-17 Women's World Championship and the 2015 FIBA U-16 Oceania Championship … as the youngest member of the team, she averaged 2.2 points and 4.5 rebounds to help Australian win gold at the 2016 FIBA U-17 Women's World Championships … during a win over Team USA in the semifinals, she registered three points, nine rebounds, and four blocked shots.

AUSTRALIA: Won multiple National Championships playing for her state (Victoria Metro) as one of Australia’s most decorated junior basketballers … at the age of 14, she became the youngest ever development squad player for Melbourne Boomers’ WNBL team (senior professional league) … she left home at age 15 to attend the women’s national team’s Opals Center of Excellence at the Australian Institute of Sport … after returning from injury in 2019, she won the best defensive player award for Ballarat Rush in the NBL1 (Australian senior pro league), finishing in the top five in both blocks and rebounds.
PERSONAL: Born on Sept. 18, 2000 in Melbourne, Australia... daughter of Stewart and Anne Cochrane... major is communication studies.
