PORTLAND 2017-18: WCC All-Freshman Team… All-WCC honorable mention… became the first Pilot to earn freshman team honors since Taishi Ito in 2007 and first UP freshman to garner honorable mention status since Donald Wilson in 2003… 394 points scored are third most in Portland freshman history… led the Pilots in scoring (12.3) and steals (32), while finishing second in the conference in free throw percentage (.858)… free throw percentage also ranked No. 8 in UP single-season history… ranked 18th in the WCC in scoring and 13th in assists per game (2.3)… started 21 games and appeared in all 32 contests… reached double figures in 22 games, led the Pilots in scoring 10 times, and eclipsed 20 points in three games… led the team in assists 10 times… season-high 22 points at San Francisco (2/8)… 21 points vs. BYU (2/22) and 20 points at Seattle U. (12/16)… averaged 16.1 points over the final seven games.

SHADOW MOUNTAIN HS: Played his senior season at Shadow Mountain High School where he was coached by former NBA standout, Mike Bibby… guided the Matadors to a perfect 27-0 record and Arizona 4A State Championship this season… earned All-Arizona Basketball First Team honors after averaging 22.4 points, 2.5 assists and 2.7 steals per game… Shadow Mountain earned an invite to the prestigious 2017 Dick's Sporting Goods High School National Tournament which featured eight of the top high programs in the nation… Shaver finished with 19 points, three rebounds, four assists and four steals in an opening round loss to Montverde Academy.
