UNIVERSITY OF PORTLAND 2013-14: WCC All-Academic Honorable Mention… led the team in blocked shots (30) for the second straight season… ranked seventh overall in the WCC in blocked shots and also was 10th best in single-season school history… No. 6 in school history with 76 career blocked shots entering season year… season-highs of 10 points against Idaho, San Diego and San Francisco.

UNIVERSITY OF PORTLAND 2012-13: WCC All-Academic Honorable Mention… team leader in blocked shots (36) which ranked him fourth in the WCC… tied for sixth in school history for the number of blocked shots in a single season… ranks 14th in Pilot history for career blocked shots with 46… recorded a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds vs. Portland Bible… scored a career-high 16 points and seven rebounds in a win over North Florida… picked up his second double-double of 11 points and 10 boards against Colorado State… finished five games with three or more blocked shots.
 
UNIVERSITY OF PORTLAND 2011-12: Played in seven games and made five starts before a knee injury cut his season short … four points, six rebounds and two assists in victory over Georgia State … granted a medical redshirt and will have three years remaining with the Pilots.

UNIVERSITY OF PORTLAND 2010-11: Appeared in 28 games as a freshman … averaged 9 minutes and 2.5 points per game … the team’s top returning shot-blocker and only returning center … shot 52 percent from the field for the year … scored career high 8 points vs. Kentucky on Nov. 19, 2010, also scored 8 points at home against San Francisco.
 
WHITE ROCK CHRISTIAN ACADEMY: Three year letterwinner for John Dykstra…named Team Captain for senior campaign … received MVP honors at Surrey RCMP Tournament … earned recognition as Frazier Valley First Team All-Star and Third Team Province All-Star … led team to second place finish at Provincials in 2008 and fourth place finish in 2009.
